Went to 5 Championships and won three.
I got into coaching because I get so much out of teaching kids to enjoy sports and realize their potential. Also to spend time with my son and love of football.
The most rewarding thing is continuing to see former players excel on the field and enjoy the sport they are playing.
My best advice is to always have fun, never ever give up, and be grateful for the opportunity to play.

Andy Gruber-Head of Officials Northeast Ohio Flag Football 2016-present
Certified high school football official, baseball umpire and volleyball referee. Andy has over 35 years experience volunteering with the P.G.A., The United Way and has served as Cycling Director for the Northeast Ohio Special Olympics.  He has also spent more than 25 years coaching many youth sports including baseball, football, and soccer. He has also served as tournament director for over 50 baseball and football tournaments.
